Yes, you can have as many deliveries as required, although to consider environmental impact, we do encourage trying to sync your medication into a single delivery each month or two.
We can try to coordinate this with your GP. This has 3 benefits
Less work for the GP and more time for them to see patients
Less worry for you. You only need to remember to order once every 1-2 months
Lower environmental impact, with fewer deliveries or trips to the pharmacy.
Yes, the NHS online prescription medicine can be delivered to any UK address of your choice. A signature is usually required upon delivery, although there are options to post through your letterbox in some circumstances.
Once you have ordered your medication, we will contact your GP to organise your prescriptions. Most GP surgeries issue prescriptions within 48-72 hours, and Royal Mail delivery should be within 48 hours.
We advise that you should make your repeat requests 10 days before your medication is due to run out, and we send you reminders (if you have opted in), by SMS, E-Mail or via the app.
Generally, Royal Mail will leave a delivery note, including any information about the collection and/or redelivery, if there is no one who can sign for the delivery. Please follow the instruction on the delivery note.
There is NO delivery charge for all NHS prescription orders placed at Simple Online Pharmacy. All orders can be dispatched to any UK address for FREE through Royal Mail Signed For 48 hrs service.
It's helpful, but you don't have to inform your GP that you are using the online prescription service.
We will communicate with your surgery on your behalf to let them know you have nominated our pharmacy.
If there are any problems, we will let you know.
You have two main options
1 - You can contact your old pharmacy and ask them to return the prescription
2 - You can ask your old pharmacy to provide you with the medicine on this occasion, then contact your GP and ask them again to change your preferred pharmacy.
Simply, update your prescription order on our website. Please contact our customer service team should you have a problem updating your NHS profile.
If you want to receive a branded version of the prescribed medication, please contact your GP first. We are only allowed to send you a medication that was prescribed by your GP.
